About Us

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have always been the backbone of Taiwan 's industrial economy. In order to raise global competitiveness, Taiwan's SMEs have been committed to develop high-value-added products and services through innovating R&D, upgrading technology level, enhancing product design, and promoting digitalization of enterprises. At the moment, the number of Taiwan 's SMEs has totaled 1,236,000, altogether producing an export value of NT$1.63 trillion (~US$49.3 billion) and contributing to 17% of Taiwan 's overall exports.

This website is honored to present the outstanding SMEs of Taiwan which have received awards from the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, such as the Rising Star Award, National Award of Outstanding SMEs, and Taiwan SME Innovation Award, and to display the SMEs' company information and product e-catalogs.
